How do we collect information from hopepacks.com?

The HOPE Packs website was designed so that visitors could anonymously find helpful information about this ministry to support children in need and people with disabilities. No information is collected in these instances. Information is only collected when you complete a form on the hopepacks.com website, including the online donation or sponsorship form, e-mail sign-up, and information request forms. The only information we are able to collect is information that you submit.

How is this information used?

We may use your information to complete a transaction, issue you an income tax receipt for a donation, or to update you on ministry projects and activities.

As of no later than January 1, 2009, HOPE Sponsors will be able to access account information online, and be able to make changes to that information, including:

  • Name and address information
  • Credit card or banking information
  • Sponsorship level (increase or decrease sponsorship)

All such information will be stored on a secure server. Credit card numbers are used only for donation or payment processing and are not retained for any other purposes. We also provide you the opportunity to remove your name from our mailing list, if you desire to do so.

The information given by our online visitors is never rented, traded, or sold.  Use of personal information will be limited to the internal purposes of Elim Christian Services and its HOPE Packs program, and used only to further ministry activities and purposes.
