Andy Peters finds great satisfaction in a job well-done and is known for picking up tasks quickly and easily.  A member of Elim’s Adult Services program, Andy spends much of his time earning a paycheck by completing assembly projects like HOPE Packs.  While Andy loves to work, he gets great satisfaction from knowing that he’s helping others.

“I want to help children get school supplies so that they can go to school,” Andy explains.

Andy’s family is also thrilled to see Andy’s satisfaction.  His mom explains, “Elim has given Andy a sense of usefulness that’s important for every human being.  Because he feels useful, he’s gained self-respect.  I believe that’s the same for any person, whether they have a disability or not.  At Elim, they also teach the importance of contributing to the community.”
